Hi All,
I went for visa interview in December, but my case was stuck because of administrative processing. I came back on Advance parole. I have the following questions.
1. Can I sponsor my parents visitor visa without any issue? Will the consulate quiz them/stop them because of my H-1 admin processing
2. Also is my admin processing still going on? and can I stamp my H-1 visa in the future after my case is cleared from admin processing.

was here in the US in B2 visa. I applied for change of status (to F-1) and after waiting for several months, they told me that my request has been denied. What are the options that I have if I still want to stay in the US

If H4 uses EAD for work with 485 pending, and if the underlying I-140 gets rejected, will this make H4 holder be out of status? what are the options for H4 holder.
If I 140 is rejected then the EAD,AP and I 485 are rejected as well. If you have used EAD then ur H4 is no longer valid ! You will have to go out of the country and get H4 stamped.
So the recommendation is to keep H status alive till you get Greencard

WASHINGTON -- The government did an about-face Tuesday and announced it is accepting applications for green cards filed by skilled immigrant workers.
Citizenship and Immigration Services, a division of the Homeland Security Department, said in a news release it will accept the applications through Aug. 17. Applications already filed, which the agency planned to reject, also will be accepted.

I wanted to know if we can transfer an approved H1 while on OPT?
For ex Company A applies for my H1 and gets approved in May 2007 although it applies fromOct 2007. Now i get an offer from Company B before Oct 2007 say in July 2007. Can i transfer my H1 even though it starts from Oct 2007?

Folks,
My GC was applied with employer A in Nov-2005. 485 applied during July 2007 fiasco. Even though I have EAD/AP, I have always maintained H1B status.
Recently got H1B transferred to employer B and its approved for 3 years.
My H1B visa (from employer B) will expire this month.
Can I make a trip to India and re-enter using AP, and still maintain H1B status?
I dont want to go through the hassle of going for H1B visa stamping for 10th to 12th year.

I am planning to use AC21 and start a new job on EAD, although the reason I am telling my present employer is that I am going to home country and may or may notcome back. what happens if the employer revokes the H1B or can he ask uscis to stop all the immigration matters with me. I have finished 180 days hatch period ...:)
