USCIS has announced that it is working on a rule to create an electronic registration system for H-1B employers subject to the annual cap. Employers would first register an application and be allocated an H-1B cap number and then would file the case. The idea is that employers would need to register to claim an H-1B cap number first and then if they are selected, they then would prepare and file the case. I have a approved I140 from my current employer with prority date of may 2006. I had applied a labor long time back in Jan 2004 with another employer. This labor is approved now. Can I apply another I140 with the old empoyer without revoking the one that I have with the current employer as I want to stay with the current employer till I get the new I140 approved? Will applying the I140 with the old affect my current I140 approval.
Please help, I have to decide soon.

Hi Fellow forum users
I and my spouse both have primary/derivative through each other. However I only have EAD (dependent) through my spouse's principal AOS. Can I use that to change my job? I dont have time to apply for a principal EAD. Once I start the new job in dependent EAD can I apply for an EAD based on my primary AOS so that my new employer can drop a AC21 mail to USCIS? The reason I want to do this is to maintain my principal AOS as well.

Current EAD was supposed to expire in Feb so applied 100 days ahead for renewal. To my surprise application got approved in 10 days:D. Hope they've given for 2 years and starting from expiry date of current one....

Hi,
I am applying for Citizenship after completing 4 years and 9 months as a Permanent Resident in US.
Can any one please let me know as what is the processing time to get the Citizenship after I apply?
Also I have planned to move to a different State after I apply for Citizenship.
Please let me know whether it fine to move to a different address after applying for Citizenship? Else is this move not advisable?
Does this address change delay my Citizenship processing time?
Appreciate your guidance.

Hi,
My H1 was denied the last cycle. The denial decision was posted on Nov 24th. My application was in RFE state for quite some time, hence the delay. The question that I have is, as the denial came very late, will I be able to apply for an H1B this year. We generally file all our documents on 3.31, I am wondering if I would not be eligible this year because 3.31 is not 6 months from 11.24. There is an rule that I cannot apply if there has been a denial in the recent 6 months. Please let me know if that is the case. Will I be ineligible for this year (3.2010).
I am currently in my 4th year on a L1.

Hi guys, How can i find out processing times for I290 B on I140 denial from Texas service center.
My appeal for Motion to reopen (Appeal to Commissioner) reached them on 1/25/08 and I saw LUD on 2/1/08.
